Ingredients:

  • 40g 5-Spice powder
  • 1 whole Bell peppers (Green, yellow or red), diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 300g White beancurd, diced
  • 100g French beans, diced
  • 2 pieces Dried mushrooms, soaked and diced
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • ⅓ cup Water
  • Spring onion, finely chopped for garnishing
  • Salt to taste

Methods:

  1. In a wok, heat oil and stir-fry garlic until it turns lightly brown.
  2. Add in mushrooms, French beans and red peppers; fry until vegetables are cooked.
  3. Pour ⅓ cup water into the wok, add in 5-spice powder and beancurd. Sprinkle with some salt to taste. Reduce heat, simmer until gravy slightly thickens.
  4. Garnish with spring onion and serve with rice.
