Ingredients:

Ingredients A:

  • 600 gm turnip, peeled and grated finely
  • 450 gm Chinese lettuce, cut into 1 cm
  • 300 gm cucumber, seeded & grated coarsely
  • 300 gm Chinese cabbage, sliced finely
  • 300 gm carrots, grated coarsely

For the Sauce:

  • 0.5 cm peeled galangal, blended finely with 3 sliced red chillies
  • 90 ml tomato sauce
  • 60 ml chilli sauce
  • 180 ml plum sauce
  • 60 ml water
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 3-4 tablespoon sugar
  • 110 gm mashed potato
  • 50-100 gm roasted peanuts
  • 2 tablespoon roasted sesame seeds, coarsely pounded

Methods:

  1. Arrange all the ingredients on a large plate and serve with potato plum sauce dressing.
  2. For the sauce:
    - Bring to boil all the ingredients, except peanuts and sesame seeds and cook until sauce thickens.
    - Remove from heat, add peanuts and sesame seeds
